And we moved in to the tool shed. We should have made it bigger.

Filling in trenches.

So, we are starting a new project adding a basement bathroom. We cut out some concrete to put in the drain pipes for bathtub, toilet, and sink. The plumber came today and put in the pipes and we spent the rest of the day putting new concrete in the trenches.

Notice the very cute front doors with glass in them and the brick walkway. If you look closely you can see Oregon moss between the bricks.

We had a chance to escape from Bountiful and headed to Oregon to see everyone up there. We actually got to be there for Quincy's blessing. It was a great day.

We stole Slade and Carol's kids from the Kelly's for a day or two.

Stephanie and kids dropped by for a few days. Pheobe had just broken her arm so we had to
tone down the excitement.

The summer started off with a visit from Jim and Sarah, but we have no pictures. The Bentley's came next and we got creative on a hot day. It isn't a swimming pool, but it was fun.

After the four corners were finished R and S and family arrived for a visit and they willingly participated in helping install most of the cedar siding. We didn't get any pictures of them helping because we were all busy holding boards and measuring. Notice that the boards look even when viewing two sides at the same time. It turns out that this can be a problem.

Occasionally, we have some construction supervision that lets us know how things should be done. The first thing Grandma said was.......I don't think the walls are right. Ahhhh, the wisdom that comes with age.

Ok, now you know that the real work is being done by the better half. As you can see the roof is almost complete, a window is in and I am sitting thinking about what to do next.........which, of course, is the most time consuming task.

Ok, this is pretty exciting stuff......the corner stone laying and footing work for the storage shed. As you can see, a chair to rest in and for sitting and thinking is essential. This is the initial work for an 8 x 11 storage shed near the corner of our lot.
